Janny is a sculptor and architect whose current work is focused on the study of the structure and patterns of growth and transformation through sculpting, drawing, and the mechanisms of fired ceramics. After 25 years away from ceramics, Janny draws on her experience in architecture to merge design with craft in her ceramic sculpture.
Janny received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics from Rhode Island School of Design, and her Master of Architecture from Harvard University. Janny is a partner at McMahon-Baek Architecture.
